Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the construction on the Western Sydney International Airport is ?already 25 per cent complete? and the terminal will start to be built today. \n\n?That has come as a result of a great partnership, a partnership between the federal Liberals and Nationals and the state Liberals and Nationals working closely to secure Australia’s economic future and to secure the success of Western Sydney,? he said during a media conference on Friday. \n\nMr Morrison said the federal government had invested over $14 billion to the project and it will create 11,000 jobs. \n\nHe said of these 11,000 jobs, 50 per cent are ?from Western Sydney alone?.\n\n?We’re not just building an airport here, we are building a workforce that will continue to build Australia for decades to come,? he said.
