In order to better understand success determinants and their effect on business intelligence implementation success, a cross-sectional survey was conducted with it professionals and business users from nine organizations of different industries in Malaysia. Questionnaires were distributed to examine the success determinants of business intelligence implementation based on their experiences. Since different organizations may have different objectives or emphases in their business intelligence initiatives, the results are useful in identifying the top rated success determinants that need attention and thus provide a basis for prioritizing those determinants. The results also suggest several promising directions for continued research on data warehousing success.
