Haemodynamic Responses to Laryngoscopy & Endo Tracheal Incubation
für 44.10€ kaufen ··· 9783847342649 ··· 10361715 ··· A study to compare the attenuation of cardiovascular response to Laryngoscopy and intubation was done with intravenous bolus dose of 200 mg of Esmolol hydrochloride and Lignocaine hydrochloride 2mg per kg body weight IV bolous. 50 patients were studied who underwent general and gynaecologicval surgeries, Belonging to ASA Grade - I and MP Grade I of both sexes between age group of 20 - 50 years. The patients were divided into 2 groups of 25 each Group - I consists of 25 patients, where Lignocaine hydrochloride 2 mg per kg N was used for attenuation of cardiovascular response to Laryngoscopy and intubation. Group-II consists of 25 patients, where Esmolol hydrochloride 200 mg IV bolus was used as study drug. Pre medication was by intramuscular injection of glycopyrrolate 0.2 mg and ejection midazolam 2 mg W. 45 minutes prior to induction of anaesthesia. Data was compared between the two groups of patients. After recording heart rate and systolic arterial pressure, induction of anaesthesia was achieved by intravenous Thiopentone sodium 2.5% solution given in a dose of 5 mg per kg body weight followed by study drugs.
