Located in the city’s Binhai New Area, the temporary lab consists of six cabins that cover an area of about 1,800 square metres (19,000 sq ft). Together with other facilities including a central lab in Tianjin, the city is now able to test as many as 4 million people using an approach where 10-20 samples are checked at once, according to a technician working at the inflatable lab.
