Advance Veterinary Diets Renal is a complete dietetic dry kibble to support the care of cats with chronic kidney disease, early congestive heart failure or liver disease. The dry food has a reduced protein and phosphorus content, which can help to prevent hyperphospatemia and slow down the deterioration of kidney function. Lower calcium can also help to prevent oxalate stones from forming. The reduced sodium content compensates for the kidneys inability to excrete sodium.
