Als unser Haupt ist Jesus befugt, Regeln aufzustellen und durchzusetzen, die das Verhalten von Einzelpersonen, Familien und der ganzen Versammlung bestimmen (Gal. 6:2). Aber Jesus stellt nicht nur Regeln auf, sondern er ernährt uns auch und kümmert sich um jeden von uns (Eph. 5:29). Schwestern zeigen ihre Achtung vor Christus dadurch, dass sie der Anleitung der Männer folgen, die er dazu eingesetzt hat, sich um sie zu kümmern. Brüder zeigen, dass sie das biblische Leitungsprinzip verstehen, wenn sie Schwestern ehren und respektieren. Wenn alle in der Versammlung den Grundsatz der Leitung durch ein Haupt verstehen und respektieren, herrscht in der Versammlung Frieden.
