Little knowledge was found to be publicly available regarding the methodology of converting a Plone-based website to TYPO3 platform. Building up on knowledge on this matter as well as clearly documenting the process were the primary goals of the project. While the migration of the actual content is merely a mechanical data transfer task, recreating existing website s template design under another CMS architecture and taxonomy can turn out to be the more challenging problem to solve.
