Psalm 41 1. As the deer longs for the springs of water, so my soul longs for You, O God! 2. My soul thirsteth for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God? 3. My tears have been shed for me day and night, all the days when I was told, "Where is your God?" 4. These have I remembered, and poured out my soul upon them: for I will pass over unto the great tabernacle, even unto the house of God. 5. with a voice of joy and confession to the voice that celebrates. 6. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou troubled? 7. Trust in God, for I will confess him, the Savior of my countenance, and my God. 8. My soul is weary of my life; therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and from the mountain of Ermon; 9. He calleth to the depths of thy gates: 10. All thy ascents and thy waves are upon me. 11. The LORD shall command the mercy of the day, and the night his song. 12. Pray to the God of my life, I will say to God: ?You are my support. Why did you forget me? 13. And why should I go in grief when my friend is troubling me? ? 14. When all my bones were broken, and all mine enemies reproached me; 15. When they said to me daily, "Where is your God?" 16. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou troubled? 17. Trust in God, for I will confess him, the Savior of my countenance, and my God.
