Psalm 70 1. I have hoped in thee, O LORD, that I should not be ashamed forever. 2. In thy righteousness deliver me, and deliver me. Your ear is open to me and saves me. 3. Be God my Savior, and stand firm for salvation. 4. For thou art my strength and my salvation; 5. Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the wicked and out of wickedness. 6. That you are my indulgence, Lord; God, my hope in my youth. 7. I leaned on my mother's womb, You are my covering; in thee is my praise always. 8. I was a miracle to many, and you were my strong help. 9. Let my mouth be filled with praise, and let my praise be with you all day long. 10. Thou shalt not forsake me when I am old; when my virtue is lacking, do not leave me! 11. For mine enemies and they that guarded my soul have said in counsel, 12. Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; 13. O my God, be not far from me; My God, help me! 14. Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me. 15. And I will hope in thee for ever, and will increase in praise unto thee. 16. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I have not known wickedness. 17. I will enter into the power of the Lord; Lord, I will remember only Your righteousness. 18. O my God, whom thou hast taught me from my youth, I will shew forth thy wondrous works. 19. And from old age and from old age; 20. My God, do not forsake me, 21. Until I make known thy arm unto the generation that is to come. 22. Thy power and thy righteousness, O God, is the highest, which thou hast magnified for me. God, who is like you? 23. What you have shown me, many troubles and evils! And when you returned, you raised me up and rescued me from the darkness of the earth. 24. Thou hast magnified thy mercy on me, and in turning thou hast comforted me, and hast brought me forth again from the depths of the earth. 25. I will confess to thee, O LORD, with a song of singing, the truth, O my God: with singing, O Holy One of Israel. 26. My lips shall rejoice when I sing praise to thee, and my soul that thou hast saved. 27. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness all the day long: for they shall be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my evil. The book of Psalms
