To enable high quality solutions, the approach is built upon well-established optimization methods. Using decision-support tools, architects are guided through the reflective derivation process. Additionally, quality marks, metrics and measurement procedures for business process models are established to form a quality framework which allows the assessment of all business process models used as input for the derivation procedure.
