Most of the plants we use are harvested at the San Demetrio organic farm in the Salento area, in the municipality of Specchia (hence the name of the company) owned by the Specchiasol company. The rest are harvested in the Lessinia Mountains and on Mount Baldo, near Verona, in areas we have selected for the quality of the environment and the local tradition of herbal culture, which is an additional guarantee for the best harvesting time. The most important difference between standard and mother tinctures is the material you start with: traditional tincture is made from dried plants, while mother tincture is made from fresh plants. The preparation is carried out by using low-alcohol spirits, in order to succeed in almost completely preserving the active ingredients of the fresh plants. Sage, thanks to its traditional and beneficial herbal properties, can be particularly useful for women, especially during menstrual cycle.
