The book has been based on the knowledge transfer or knowledge exchange approach. It starts with a description of the methodology of the whole study. A case study approach is chosen. This has been done with direct interviews with the Danish side and using electronic communication tools with the Latvians. A common interest field was eventually found - satellite technologies.
