And by ongoing conflict, division, and misinformation," said Guterres in his New Year's address. \n"Together, let's make recovery our resolution for 2022," he added. \nThe UN chief said that the aforementioned challenges are not 'just policy tests' but 'moral and real-life tests' that can be passed if the world strives for recovery. He then continued to outline the measures and goals that needed to be carried out to reach recovery regarding the pandemic, climate change, economic difficulties, conflicts, mistrust and division. \n"Moments of great difficulty are also moments of great opportunity. To come together in solidarity. To unite behind solutions that can benefit all people.
