One-dimensional nanostructures are of great interest because of their potential application in many areas, such as high-density perpendicular magnetic recording media and nanosensors. The synthesis and precise control of such a magnetic nanostructure on a large scale is a challenging issue in material science. One strategy is to electrode posit magnetic nanowires into nanochannels of porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates. In this work we focused on Fe-nanowire arrays with diameters of about 30 nm, using the shape anisotropy and the crystalline anisotropy. In the present paper, we report a unique dynamically controlled growth method to prepare Fe nanowire with preferred (110) orientation along the wire. The effects of pH, symmetry/asymmetry electrodeposition voltage and frequency on magnetic properties of nenowires were investigated. Computing the samples magnetization proved that by increasing the non symmetric voltage, magnetization of nanowires increased. On the other hand, the values of coercive field and squareness of samples showed that 1000 Hz is the optimum system frequency which reveals special properties of Fe nanowires discussed in this book. ····· 10361102884

The oscillatory behaviour of the electromagnetic field with a new weakly damped mode is identified in addition to the standard gravitational instability picture. Vertical velocity perturbations are further found to generate magnetic fields of sufficient strength to provide a seed for the galactic dynamo. UV-Vis spectra show excellent transmission through the visible region up to 1100 nm. Laser damage threshold values were determined using Q-switched Nd:YAG laser operating at 1064 nm and with 25 ns pulses in single shot mode. We proposed analytical expressions of the dispersion equations for both TE and TM polarization modes. This method is a simplified form of TMM, which is allowed us to distinct modes by its order. Also, the applications are made, for comparison propose, to the multi-channel directional couplers. The results obtained from MTMM are fit with results obtained by TMM and CMM. Semiconductor NPs: Bandgap energy between the valance and conduction bands is responsible for all optical properties in semiconductor NPs. Bandgap of these NPs is tuned by changing the size. The size dependent multi-photon absorption of these NPs were studied. Metal NPs: Surface plasmon resonance band absorption plays key role in optical properties of metal NPs. Tuning surface plasmon resonance band, we have observed interesting changes in NLO properties of these NPs. Phthalocyanine NPs: Optical properties of these NPs depend on the high energy B (Soret) band and the low energy Q band(s). These NPs exhibit an increase and a blue shift in the B-band, and quenching of the Q-band compared to ordinary phthalocyanines molecules. The flow in a lid driven cavity with a rotating rod has been studied by numerical simulations. The flow is suitable for studying vortex breaksdown. Breakdowns bubbles of the steady flow and unsteady flow can be controlled by the rotation of the rod. Transition of the flow was studied and the frequencies appearing in the time varying flow were determined by applying a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). By applying Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) and the newly developed Sequential POD (SPOD), one can extract a limited amount of data characterizing the flow. The modes resulting from the decomposition form a basis in the phase space on which a Galerkin projection of the equations of motion can be performed. One obtains a low-dimensional model consisting of a reduced set of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE). This set of equations has been used for analyzing bifurcations. A method has been developed for contructing low- dimensional models with more than one free parameter. Photocatalytic activity of produced nanostructures demonstrated that by increasing UV illumination time, the maximum absorption peak and concentration of Rh. B decreases in the presence of metal oxide nanostructures. In fact, decrease of concentration for ZrO2 was found to be more pronounced than the ZnO and WO3 which was due to increased surface to volume ratio.
