Achyranthes aspera have been used in the traditional medicine for treatment of diabetes, wound healing, and many other complications. SDS- PAGE analysis of wound tissue shows different proteins expression compared to normal animals. Thus it indicates that Achyranthes aspera possesses potential as a wound healing agent and also have antidiabetic activity.
