The theoretical analysis about solidification or melting of a slab at a constant boundary temperature, which is greater or lower than the melting point, is conducted. The theoretical and numerical analysis of the Quasi-Steady state with the moving phase boundaries of the melting and freezing processes in the dimensionless system are performed. Moreover, the properties in MFRD are analyzed. The use of MFRD in the aerospace is discussed.
