Sodium ascorbate hydrogel application following bleaching increased the resin-enamel bond strength and was directly proportional to its duration of application. However, there was no difference in bond strength with an increase in the concentration of sodium ascorbate hydrogel. Bei vier Seronegativen wurde erwartungsgemäß über den gesamten Untersuchungszeitraum keine HSV-1-DNA nachgewiesen. Diese erhöhte Frequenz der Reaktivierung zeigt, dass auch die allgemeine zahnärztliche Tätigkeit als Triggerfaktor für klinische und subklinische Reaktivierung des HSV-1 in der Mundhöhle bei immunkompetenten Personen zu werten ist.
