A Least-SquaresPrimal-Dual (LSPD) algorithm usesNNLS solutions by solving small NNLS problems tosolve relatively larger linear programmingproblems. These algorithms are impervious todegeneracy. Computationalresults for the algorithms shows a superiorperformance over the simplex algorithmon a wide range of linear programming problems.
