Jedoch gestaltet sich die Untersuchung und somit die wissenschaftlich fundierte Optimierung von Lernprozessen in der Kommissionierung - gerade aufgrund der wesentlichen stochastischen Einflussfaktoren auf diesen Funktionsbereich - als schwierig. Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit der Entwicklung einer Methode zur Modellierung und Bewertung von Lernprozessen in der Person-zur-Ware-Kommissionierung, mit deren experimentellen Untersuchung mittels Probandenversuche in einer Laborumgebung sowie mit der systematischen Optimierung entsprechender Lernprozesse anhand von Fallbeispielen. Die Erkenntnisse, die aus dieser Arbeit hervorgehen, können herangezogen werden, um zum einen einschlägige Lernprozesse im Unternehmen unter Effektivitäts- und Kostengesichtspunkten wissenschaftlich fundiert zu bewerten und optimieren.
