Many mathematicians and amateurs accepted the challenge of but so far inspite of repeated attempt no convincing proofs have been achieved. The author thinks that it seems the availablemathematical tools and methods are not enough to prove these conjectures and baffling problems. Hence, in order to solve these mathematical baffling problems, to create a new method is necessary. ····· 10361114478

Due to this reason we pose the question: Which is the respective interpretation of this term in Number Theory This monograph answers that question. It also contains basic ideas from Theory of Differential Equations. In the first place, this is the Lagrange`s Method. Integer interpretations of basic theorems from Real Analysis have been examined. After all this, we have the opportunity to offer a proof of Fermat`s Last Theorem and some immediate generalizations. The author is married and has three children. ····· 10361114409

In the first chapter non-commutative theory of R-linear and additive operators in Banach spaces over the Cayley-Dickson algebras is presented. Unbounded, as well as bounded quasi-linear operators in the Hilbert spaces X over the Cayley-Dickson algebras are studied. There are defined and investigated also graded operators of projections and graded projection valued measures. Theorems about spectral representations of projection valued graded measures of normal quasi-linear operators, which can be unbounded, are proved. More general properties of C -algebras over the Cayley-Dickson algebras are given in Chapter 2. For them analogs of theorems like Gelfand-Naimark-Segal`s, von Neuman`s, Kaplansky`s and so on are proved. Then a topological and algebraic irreducibility of the action of a C -algebra of quasi-linear operators in the Hilbert space over the Cayley-Dickson algebras is described. ····· 10361114332

The algorithm we describe illustrates a fast way of solving linear equations or linear least squares problems with low displacement rank. This algorithm is based on the O(n^2) Schur algorithm, sped up via FFT. The algorithm solves an ill-conditioned Toeplitz-like system using Tikhonov regularization. The regularized system solved is Toeplitz-like and is of displacement rank, 4. The notion of multiset relations and multiset functions are introduced and the concepts in general topology on classical sets are extended to topology on multisets. Partially ordered multisets and their chains and antichains are introduced and the decomposition theorem for partially ordered multisets is obtained. Moreover multiset topologies are generated using multiset relations and to obtain a quasi-discrete multiset topology from a symmetric multiset relation instead of an equivalence multiset relation. Rough multisets are introduced and the relationship between rough multisets and multiset topologies are investigated. ····· 10361114217

The organising framework is the classification of the central learning outcomes of school mathematics into facts, skills, conceptual structures, general strategies and appreciation. Each component is treated in one or two dedicated chapters. There is a chapter on theoretical and practical aspects of constructivist learning theory, and another on the mathematical processes, strategies, and thinking involved in mathematical problem solving, including meta-cognition. A further chapter treats attitudes to and the appreciation of mathematics. The last two chapters explore a theme that has emerged as important in the psychology of mathematics education in recent years, the impact of context, both task and social context. This concerns the cognitive and psychological significance of both the external representations and situated embodiments of mathematical ideas and tasks, and also their internal, mental representations. It also concerns the links between these two domains including theories of transfer of learning. ····· 10361114178

In this book we study characteristic properties of networks that can help us to understand the systems they represent. Specifically, we study patterns of correlations between connected nodes in a network and provide mechanistic explanations for the origins of such correlations. We will show that computer, biological and social networks have some commonalities among them. On the other hand, they also have distinctive features, which are reflected in the patterns of correlations between connected nodes in the network. Finally, we will show these correlations can affect the behavior of different processes taking place on networks, such as the spreading of computer viruses, infectious diseases, or the association between genes and biological function. ····· 10361113983

There are several classical studies of curvature and some nonstandard studies about differential geometry, but none of them treated the problem of curvature at or near singular points. Black holes are one of a real examples about singularity which has highly energy at its singular point that make hastily change of the value of the curvature of any curve pass throughout it. Our investigation throughout this book is to use nonstandard tools for treating such problems, the study of this subject leads to introduce a more general definition about curvature and torsion which enable us to find the curvature and torsion values of points includes in an infinitesimal neighborhood of singularities rather than, finding the value of it at ordinary points. ····· 10361113664

These customers receive deliveries in a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) contract, which gives companies the flexibility to determine when and what volume to deliver, and what routes to choose. The decision problem that is associated with distributing a product to a large set of VMI customers is called the Inventory Routing Problem (IRP). In this book, we develop an algorithm for practical use that solves this problem and also incorporates a method that balances delivery volumes on a longer term, in order to mitigate the effects of large seasonal peaks in product demand. Our algorithm effectively uses the flexibility provided by VMI, as it improves efficiency and lowers costs by decreasing the number of travelled kilometers required to deliver the product. ····· 10361113593

It is an autoethnography of a high school teacher who has spent more than two decades in teaching mathematics in secondary schools of Nepal. Basically, this book focuses on how the writer learned mathematics in his school and university days, how his learning is reflected on his teaching, what experiences did he achieve from his classroom practices, what sorts of changes did he bring in his classroom, and the most important part is why is he not able to use participatory pedagogies in teaching mathematics in the classroom even though he is enriched by several student-centred teaching learning methods. This study is essentially numerical in character, Constitutive equations are converted to ordinary differential equations and then Quasilinearization technique is applied to get numerical solution. In four of the problems studied, the fluid under consideration is of Walters Liquid B model. In one of the problems a power law fluid model is considered which has the facility of distinguishing the non-Newtonian fluid with the other cases. In all the problems the relevant flow field variables like velocity and temperature are numerically evaluated for diverse values of the fluid flow parameters that emerge in the problems. The solutions obtained for the problems in the thesis using the numerical approach stated are in good agreement with the corresponding numerical results obtained through analytical solutions. This strengthens the belief that for problems where in analytical solutions are eluding can be treated by the quasilinearization technique applied in the present book. ····· 10361113505

für 44.10€ kaufen ···· Rheinberg-Buch.de - Bücher, eBooks, DVD & Blu-ray The problems encountered in biology are usually complex and often not totally understood. Mathematical modeling provides a means to better understand the processes and unravel some of these complexities. This book presents a model for detecting diabetes Mellitus in the blood. Epinephrine has been successfully incorporated as a third variable in the existing model of blood glucose regulatory system (BGRS). The importance of this third variable lies in its ability to help in conducting a reliable test for detecting diabetes in the blood. This leads to a system of linear homogenous equations whose solution provides the blood glucose concentrations for diabetics and non diabetics. This model has been found to be asymptotically stable since the the eigenvalues of the coefficient matrix are complex numbers with negative real parts. The resonance period for this new model is also far less than that for the existing model. This shows that the glucose concentration returns to normal level within a shorter time. This model would help the medical practitioners to predict diabetics from non diabetics. ····· 10361113374

The present article offers an exposition of the axiomatic definition of tensors and their further developments from this very standpoint. Various types of tensor sand their examples have been included. A systematic study of manifolds endowed with a metric defined by the positive fourth-root of a 4th degree differential form was considered by P. By applying the monotonically increasing property of trace, determinant and eigenvalues of positive definite symmetric matrices to these inequalities, inequalities involving trace, determinant and eigenvalues of those matrices are obtained.
